The Demystify Abuse Campaign Journey So Far

today is 16th of June, 2017.
 
And today marks seven (7) months after the armed robbery attack that almost crumbled the foundations of my life.
 
Today marks it seven months since I was left with two options of –
 
-either letting the FEAR OF STIGMATIZATION push me to being SILENT about MY RAPE EXPERIENCE or
 
– SPEAKING UP on the EXPERIENCE and LENDING MY VOICE and my story to speak against RAPE and SEXUAL ABUSE and the need to reassure other victims that THERE IS LIFE AFTER RAPE/SEXUAL ABUSE.

Our Words Are Deadlier

We are grateful for the invention as earth shaking and earth building as social media.

I am sure you are grateful too.
 
But as happy and as grateful as we are, there are some of us who resort to misusing this tool, as such we end up causing not just bodily harm, but mental, psychological and emotional harm and damage to humans and to the world via these platforms, albeit ignorantly.
